Bulk email footer

Bulk email has a footer that allows the recipient to unsubscribe according to GDPR

Standard footer

AyMINE's standard footer has a link to an unsubscribe form for bulk mail.

Choosing the type of footer

In the directory management, you can choose whether the footer will link to the unsubscribe form or the preferences settings form. You will use the "Bulk Message Footer&quot function;
How to set up a bulk message footer by GDP or for preference settings

How to create your own message footer

The "Bulk Message Footer" function allows you to define your own footer.

Good to know

Change the footer text

In the unsubscribe footer, there is a field with a link that contains the placeholder @removeMe. You don't edit the word because it is appended with a unique link just for each recipient. If you remove the link from the footer, it won't work.

The footer for preferences and unsubscribes differ by the tag for the link. If you want to change whether to send unsubscribe or change preferences, just change @removeMe (for unsubscribe) and @preferences (for preferences) in the footer.

Groups visible to recipients in settings

Only groups that have a public name are visible to recipients. This is filled in in the group administration (Public name). Other groups are invisible outside AyMINE. The user cannot exclude himself from them.

Only groups from the directory in which they are listed are offered to people for delisting or inclusion. You can have multiple directories and different groups defined in each, but unregistering or setting preferences always applies to one directory and the groups in it.

Remember: You should never have a contact for one person in multiple directories when it comes to consent-based registration. But it makes sense to have a directory of active clients with contacts used in contracts and a separate directory for information, for example, to set access rights.
