Contact per person or company
Contacts store phones, emails and other contacts on subjects in a directory
For one person or company, you can store any number of contacts per subject (company, person). The system defines types of contact, your organization can define its own types of contact.
Contact type
Contact type is
- mailing address
- email address
- phone
- web page
- social network addresses
Contact types are defined by the system. If you need to extend them, contact your system administrators.
Contact types
The contact type specifies the contact itself.
The usual contact types are corporate and private contact. However, these types often have no basis in the company database, so each organization can define its own types to use.
Primary contact
Within each contact type, one contact can be marked as primary. (e.g. primary email). Within a communication, this contact is used preferentially. For example, if you have some features active that send people an email automatically, it is always sent to the primary contact.
The primary contact is marked with the symbol in the contact overview.
