More about how the system works
AyMINE is a 100% cloud-based database system that stores all information on a server. For each piece of information, it controls who has access to it and what activities they can do with it, based on the set permissions. For work, this means:
- To work, you must have an Internet connection with the ability to access the system.
- Anything you store is immediately stored on a server. This way, you can be sure that:
- Even if someone steals your device, the data from AyMINE is not on it
- If your device breaks, you can't lose anything
- The vast majority of operations take place on a server, so the system requires you to always save; you can't work with them without saving the data.
Can we trust the cloud?
Whether you want to or not, you still trust cloud services. You probably have email in the cloud, quite possibly pictures.
Still, we understand – and there are a number of good reasons for this – that you would prefer to have a corporate organization management system on your own cloud or in the company itself. Of course, this is possible. You can run AyMINE in your own environment just as you would if you had it in the cloud with us. It is up to your company to decide what to do.
