Securing posts and internal discussions
Discussions and posts have high-quality protection so that nobody you don't want can see in your discussion
Securing the discussions and posts in the entries is the same, so they are described together
- In general, we write about posts in the entries here.
- In general, internal discussions about differences from posts in the entries are written here.
- Securing free discussions
- Project Discussion Security
- Team Discussions
- Discussions for records outside areas
- Right to trace an old discussion
- Deleting posts
Securing free discussions
Free discussions are the ones you have on your main desk with the discussion icon. It is a general forum for the whole organization, and the discussions that are held here are seen by everyone in the organization. More about them are written here.
The discussions that you will have on the tab on the main desk will be seen by all internal staff. The right to access them is governed by the system right of the tsk module. A more detailed breakdown is not possible for these discussions, but you can use the project discussions and team discussions
Project Discussion Security
Project discussions are always held within a specific project. All members of the project team have access to them.
If you exclude a staff member from the project team, they will also lose access to the discussions that were held in the project. However, you can give them access by giving them the right of reader to the project - see administration. The reader has the right to contribute to the entries in the entries as well as to the discussions. By giving the right of reader to the project, you also have the possibility to participate in the discussions that are held in the project.
Note: The system does not currently allow you to view the entries and not have the right to contribute.
Team Discussions
For team discussions that are only for team members, business area discussions are designed. Even within the area, everyone who has the right of access to the area has the possibility to participate in the discussions.
Discussions for records outside areas
A number of records in AyMINE do not belong to any area. The most important of these are data on workers or candidates-for-employment candidates.
The right to see and participate in a discussion about a worker or candidate is given to:
- Staffer who is in charge of the worker/candidate
- Staffer who temporarily or permanently represents the Chief Staffer (only while representing)
- Direct Manager
- Staffer with the right
allReader
(Please note that this right is not in accordance with GDPR and should not be used correctly)
For other records, the right to see and participate in the discussion is always linked to the right of access to the object itself.
Right to trace an old discussion
If you search across the system (full-text searches in all objects), you can search for posts you wrote yourself, even if the record to which the post related may no longer be accessible. You will therefore see the post, but you will not be able to access the record itself.
Deleting posts
Both posts and discussions are deleted along with the entry to which they relate. (In the case of a discussion, the entry is the main topic to which the discussion was started.)
If the main entry is in the trash, the entire discussion is still available.
If the entry is definitely deleted (deleted from the trash as well), the related discussion is deleted within 1 day.
